Job Description

MaineGeneral Health is currently seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic/CAT Scan to join our team of experienced medical professionals. The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for providing quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services to our patients. This role requires a compassionate and patient-focused individual with exceptional technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.The ideal candidate is a certified radiologic technologist with a minimum of two years of experience in diagnostic/CAT scan imaging. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services to patients.
  2. Maintain and operate imaging equipment according to established protocols.
  3. Ensure patient safety by following all safety protocols and procedures.
  4. Prepare patients for imaging exams and explain procedures.
  5. Monitor patient during exams and report any abnormalities to the radiologist.
  6. Evaluate and interpret images for accuracy and clarity.
  7. Maintain patient records and create patient profiles.
  8. Assist radiologists with special procedures.
  9. Assist with patient scheduling and prepping of exam rooms.
  10. Participate in continuing education and training as required.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology

  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.t.) Certification

  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (C.r.t.) Credential

  • Ability To Operate And Troubleshoot Radiology Equipment
