  2. Ensure patient comfort and safety: Radiologic Technologists are responsible for ensuring that patients are comfortable and safe throughout the imaging process. This includes properly positioning patients, shielding them from radiation, and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  3. Operate and maintain imaging equipment: Radiologic Technologists are responsible for operating and maintaining various imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and CT scanners. Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Radiologic Technology Program: A Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Degree Or Certificate From An Accredited Radiologic Technology Program, Ensuring They Have Received Proper Education And Training In The Field.

  • Current Arrt Certification: The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) Certification Is A Nationally Recognized Standard For Radiologic Technologists. It Demonstrates A Level Of Proficiency And Knowledge In The Field.

  • State Licensure: In Order To Practice As A Radiologic Technologist In Maine, Candidates Must Hold A Valid State License. This Ensures That They Have Met The Necessary Requirements And Regulations For The Profession.

  • Experience In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting: Mainegeneral Health Is A Large Healthcare System, And Experience Working In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting Is Preferred For This Role. This Experience Shows The Candidate's Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment And Handle A Variety Of Patient Cases.
