
Pulmonology/Critical Care NP
MaineGeneral Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Pulmonology/ Critical Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our world-class team. Our ideal candidate is an experienced NP who is passionate about providing exceptional care to patients with respiratory and critical care needs. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Pulmonology/Critical Care and is eager to develop and strengthen their skills.To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent patient care skills, knowledge of evidence-based practice, and a desire to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will have a Master's of Nursing degree and be certified as a Nurse Practitioner in Pulmonology/Critical Care. Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient care and compassionate treatment to patients with respiratory and critical care needs.
- Utilize evidence-based practice to ensure high quality care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide support and education to other healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient progress and evaluate outcomes.
- Manage patient care plans and develop protocols for care.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain current knowledge of advances in Pulmonology/Critical Care.
- Participate in professional development opportunities.
Board Certification As An Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certification
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification
At Least Two Years Of Experience Working In A Critical Care Setting
Experience With Intubation
Experience With Ventilators
Knowledge Of Pulmonary Function Testing
Knowledge Of Sleep Medicine
And Experience With Critical Care Procedures
