
Phlebotomist/Medical Lab Assistant

- Collect and process blood samples from patients for diagnostic testing.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of lab services.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion while interacting with patients.
- Follow established protocols and procedures for specimen collection and handling.
- Maintain proper documentation and record keeping of all lab activities.
- Adhere to safety and infection control policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals as a part of the patient care team.

Certification: Candidates Must Hold A Valid Certification As A Phlebotomist Or Medical Lab Assistant From A Reputable Organization, Such As The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp) Or The National Healthcareer Association (Nha).
Experience: A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As A Phlebotomist Or Medical Lab Assistant In A Healthcare Setting Is Required. This Experience Should Include Venipuncture, Specimen Processing, And Lab Equipment Maintenance.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: Candidates Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Be Able To Accurately Identify And Label Specimens.
Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, Are Essential For This Position. Candidates Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Other Lab Staff.
Attention To Detail: A High Level Of Attention To Detail Is Crucial For This Role, As Phlebotomists And Medical Lab Assistants Are Responsible For Accurately Collecting And Processing Specimens. Candidates Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Follow Strict Protocols To Ensure The Integrity Of The Specimens.
