- Coordinate and manage the care of outpatients undergoing micrographic surgery.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Communicate with patients, their families, and caregivers to provide education, support, and guidance throughout the care process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Schedule appointments, procedures, and follow-up visits for patients.
- Serve as a liaison between the patient, physician, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Monitor and track patient progress and report any concerns or changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide emotional support and address any patient concerns or questions.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Keep abreast of current healthcare practices and procedures related to micrographic surgery.
- Assist with other administrative tasks and duties as needed.
Medical Assistant Certification: A Valid Certification As A Medical Assistant Is A Basic Requirement For This Role. This Ensures That The Candidate Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Work In A Clinical Setting.
Experience In Micrographic Surgery: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience In Micrographic Surgery Or A Related Field. This Will Enable Them To Understand The Specific Needs And Requirements Of This Specialized Outpatient Care.
