
Oncology Nutrition Specialist (Registered Dietitian)
MaineGeneral Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Oncology Nutrition Specialist (Registered Dietitian) to join our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate is a Registered Dietitian who is passionate about providing exceptional nutrition care to Oncology patients. The successful candidate will also have a strong commitment to delivering patient-centered care with a comprehensive understanding of nutrition-related issues and the ability to effectively communicate these to patients and their families. To be successful in this role, the Registered Dietitian must possess the following:• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field• Registered Dietitian status• A minimum of two years of experience in Oncology Nutrition • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Strong organizational and time management skills • The ability to work independently and collaboratively • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • A working knowledge of computers and the ability to use electronic medical records If you are passionate about providing excellent nutrition care to Oncology patients and have the required qualifications, please apply today!
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nutrition care to Oncology patients • Assess patients' nutrition needs and develop personalized meal plans and nutrition programs • Monitor and evaluate patients' progress in achieving their nutrition goals • Educate and counsel patients and their families on nutrition-related issues • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation of patient care • Develop and implement nutrition education programs • Participate in health promotion activities • Monitor the availability and quality of food supplies • Ensure compliance with government regulations and standards of practice

Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (Cnsc) Certification
Registered Dietitian (Rd) Credential Strongly Preferred
+ Years Of Clinical Experience In Oncology Nutrition

Ability To Assess Patient Nutritional Status And Develop Individualized Nutrition Plans
