Occupational Medicine Medical Director/Physician

We are looking for a motivated, passionate and patient-centered Occupational Medicine Medical Director/Physician to join our MaineGeneral Health team. This position is a great opportunity for a board-certified doctor to lead, mentor and serve as an expert in Occupational Medicine. As our Medical Director/Physician, you will provide a full range of occupational health services, including preventive services, diagnostic, evaluation and treatment services.The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications: a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy degree; board certification in Occupational Medicine; eligible for a Maine medical license; and a minimum of three years of relevant experience. You must have excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a commitment to patient-centered care. The successful candidate will be a highly organized multi-tasker, capable of managing a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead, mentor, and provide expert advice in Occupational Medicine
2. Provide preventive services, diagnostic, evaluation and treatment services
3. Maintain a valid medical license in Maine
4. Stay up to date on the latest trends and developments in Occupational Medicine
5. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
6. Ensure patient-centered care is consistently delivered
7. Manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
8. Monitor patient care and outcomes
9. Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
10. Develop and implement Occupational Medicine policies and procedures
