Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory testing and analysis in accordance with established protocols and procedures
• Follow the instructions and protocols for patient specimen collection and laboratory testing
• Prepare and maintain reagents, solutions, and media required for laboratory testing
• Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment and inform the laboratory manager of any maintenance issues
• Document laboratory results, data, and information accurately and in a timely manner
• Ensure accuracy of laboratory testing results by conducting quality control and calibration tests
• Comply with all safety and regulatory guidelines
• Maintain laboratory records and inventory
• Assist in training and supervising new laboratory technicians
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and colleagues
