Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) License: A Cna-M At Mainegeneral Health Must Possess A Valid Cna License From The State Of Maine. This License Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Completed The Necessary Training And Passed A Competency Exam To Provide Skilled Nursing Care.
Experience In Skilled And Long-Term Care: Candidates For The Cna-M Position Should Have Prior Experience Working In Skilled Nursing And Long-Term Care Settings. This Experience Should Include Providing Direct Patient Care, Assisting With Activities Of Daily Living, And Administering Medication Under The Supervision Of A Nurse.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulations: Mainegeneral Health Follows Strict State And Federal Regulations For Skilled And Long-Term Care Facilities. A Cna-M Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of These Regulations To Ensure Compliance And Provide Quality Care To Patients.
