
Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA)
MaineGeneral Health is looking for an experienced and compassionate Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) to join our team. If you’re a motivated and reliable individual who has a passion for providing exceptional service to our residents, this could be the perfect fit for you. As a Certified Residential Medication Aide, you’ll be responsible for a variety of duties that will ensure our residents receive quality care. You’ll need to be organized, detail-oriented, and have a strong commitment to excellence, as well as an understanding of the importance of providing quality care. To ensure that you’re the right fit for this role, the following qualifications are required: • Current and valid CRMA certification in the state of Maine • Ability to work independently and within a team • Demonstrated commitment to quality and customer service • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Must pass a background check and drug screening • Current CPR and First Aid Certification
Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with approved procedures as directed by a licensed healthcare professional.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition or behavior and report to a licensed healthcare professional as needed.
- Provide education and support to residents and families in regards to medications and related topics.
- Ensure medication administration records are accurately maintained and updated.
- Assist with ordering, receiving, stocking, and disposing of medications as needed.
- Maintain inventory of medications, supplies, and equipment.
- Participate in training and development opportunities as needed.
- Provide compassionate, respectful, and culturally sensitive care to all residents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
