
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit

We are currently seeking a compassionate and driven Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. - Provide compassionate and personalized care to patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities to the healthcare team.
- Administer medication and treatments as directed by the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, including vital signs, treatments, and any changes in condition.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by following infection control protocols and maintaining equipment.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support as needed.
- Respond to patient needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving patient care and department processes.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Attend continuing education and training sessions to maintain CNA certification and stay updated on best practices in patient care.
Completion Of An Accredited Certified Nurse Assistant (Cna) Training Program.
Current Certification As A Cna In The State Of Maine.
Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working In A Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (Pacu) Or Surgical Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Post-Operative Care And The Ability To Assist With Procedures Such As Wound Care, Vital Sign Monitoring, And Patient Transfers.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
