
Behavioral Health Technician
At MaineGeneral Health, we are looking for an experienced and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and supportive environment for patients. This individual should have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work independently.The ideal Behavioral Health Technician candidate should possess a combination of education and experience in the mental health field. A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling, is preferred. Previous experience working in a behavioral health setting is also desired. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for this position.The Behavioral Health Technician will be responsible for providing direct care to individuals in our behavioral health programs. This includes monitoring patients, documenting progress, and helping to ensure a high quality of care. The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of patient rights and be able to provide psychological support to patients in a respectful and caring manner. We are looking for someone who is motivated and committed to making a positive impact on our patients’ lives.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients in a behavioral health setting and provide direct care.
