Application Engineer

MaineGeneral Health is looking for an exceptional Application Engineer to join our cutting-edge IT team. In this role, you will work with our highly experienced team to provide technical support and maintenance for the applications used by our organization. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about technology and enjoys working with a fast-paced and innovative team.The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and 3-5 years of experience in application engineering. Additionally, the successful candidate will have strong customer service skills and be able to provide technical assistance in a professional manner. Responsibilities:

1. Develop, maintain, and test applications and software used by MaineGeneral Health
2. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications
3. Manage and monitor application performance
4. Create and maintain technical documentation
5. Respond to customer inquiries, questions, and feedback
6. Monitor and maintain security of applications
7. Research and evaluate new technologies for use in applications
8. Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure applications are functioning properly
9. Participate in system design and development activities
