Job Description

Macy’s is searching for a creative, detail-oriented VP, Comms Planning, Media Strategy & Investment to lead the development and execution of the company’s media planning and buying strategy. This position requires an individual with strong business acumen, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will possess a demonstrated track record of success in leading and managing complex media campaigns. We are seeking an individual who is driven to deliver world-class results while maintaining a focus on the customer experience. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field and have at least 10 years’ experience in the media planning and buying space. A deep understanding of the media landscape with knowledge of the latest technology and trends is critical. The candidate must also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and manage relationships with both internal and external partners. Additionally, the candidate should possess the ability to think strategically and analytically while managing multiple projects and initiatives. Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development and execution of Macy's media planning and buying strategy in order to maximize customer experience and results.
  2. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects and initiatives.
  3. Utilize a deep understanding of the media landscape and knowledge of the latest technology and trends to ensure successful campaigns.
  4. Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to build and manage relationships with both internal and external partners.
  5. Think strategically and analytically while managing multiple projects and initiatives.
  6. Monitor media performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
  7. Prepare reports on media performance and trends.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with key media partners.
  9. Manage and track media budgets.
  10. Stay current on industry trends and best practices.
