Tech Manager, Engineering – Marketing Technology

Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership position• Expertise in developing software architecture and design• Experience with cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform• In-depth knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Java, C/C++)• Strong understanding of web technologies (e.g. HTML, XML, RESTful APIs, JSON, etc.)• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills• Ability to lead and motivate a team• A passion for technology and a commitment to staying up-to-date on industry trends• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and manage software engineering processes and procedures to ensure successful development and delivery of marketing technology solutions.
2. Lead and motivate a team of software engineers to ensure successful development and deployment of solutions.
3. Design and implement software architectures and designs that adhere to best practices.
4. Monitor and maintain cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
5. Utilize web technologies such as HTML, XML, RESTful APIs, JSON, etc. to optimize performance.
6. Keep up-to-date on industry trends and standards to ensure solutions are current and effective.
7. Collaborate with other teams, such as marketing, product, and customer service, to ensure successful integration of solutions.
8. Evaluate software engineering projects and provide feedback to ensure quality delivery.
9. Manage and track budget for engineering projects.
10. Provide technical training and support to other teams.
