Job Description

Macy's is searching for an experienced and knowledgeable leader to join our team as Senior Director, Agile Transformation. The ideal candidate should be a passionate, driven, and innovative individual with a proven record of success in agile transformation. The successful candidate will be a key contributor in driving change and helping Macy's reach its agile transformation objectives.The Senior Director, Agile Transformation will be responsible for driving the transformation of our organization towards an agile environment. The successful candidate should have a deep understanding of agile philosophies, frameworks, and tools, and be able to effectively lead others through the process of agile transformation. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, have the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, and be able to handle complex projects.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience• 5+ years of experience leading agile transformation efforts in a large organization• Proven experience in successfully leading and implementing agile transformations• Demonstrated knowledge of agile philosophies, frameworks, and tools• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and project management skills• Ability to manage complex projects and provide creative solutions• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

Responsibilities of the Senior Director, Agile Transformation: • Lead the transformation of the organization towards an agile environment. • Develop and implement effective transformations and initiatives. • Provide strategic direction, guidance, and expertise in agile philosophies, frameworks, and tools. • Develop and implement best practices and standards for agile transformation and development. • Provide guidance and support to project teams in the areas of agile transformation and development. • Monitor project progress and ensure successful outcomes. • Lead the adoption of new agile technologies and techniques. • Act as a mentor and coach to agile transformation and development teams. • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure their satisfaction with the agile transformation process. • Analyze the effectiveness of agile transformation efforts and recommend improvements. • Promote a culture of collaboration and innovation. • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the organization’s business goals and objectives.
