Senior, Designer - Home Textiles/Bedding

Macy's is looking for a creative and experienced Senior Designer - Home Textiles/Bedding to join our team! The ideal candidate will have the passion and talent to drive the design process from concept to production, collaborating with product development and merchandising to create product collections that are on-trend, relevant and commercially successful. We are seeking an individual with a natural eye for color, texture and pattern, and the ability to communicate their design vision in a collaborative, creative environment. Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with product development and merchandising teams to create on-trend and relevant product collections.
2. Develop original concepts and designs for home textiles/bedding collections.
3. Create trend and mood boards that illustrate design direction.
4. Research the latest trends and innovations in home textiles/bedding to inform design processes.
5. Create technical specifications for product collections.
6. Manage the design process from concept to production, ensuring quality control.
7. Work closely with other departments to ensure designs are in-line with the company’s overall vision.
8. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and factories.
9. Present and communicate design vision to internal and external stakeholders.
10. Monitor the market and competitors to identify new opportunities and trends.
