  1. Greet and welcome customers to Macy's in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized receiving area to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
  4. Receive and process incoming shipments of merchandise, verifying accuracy and quality.
  5. Unload and unpack merchandise from delivery trucks and distribute to appropriate departments.
  6. Ensure all merchandise is properly tagged and priced according to company standards.
  7. Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting any discrepancies.
  8. Collaborate with store management and sales associates to ensure merchandise is stocked and displayed accurately.
  9. Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move and store merchandise.
  10. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and prioritize workload.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
  13. Attend training sessions and meetings to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
  14. Assist in other areas of the store as needed, such as cashiering or restocking shelves.
  15. Uphold Macy's values and standards of excellence in all interactions with customers and team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Inventory Management: A Retail Receiving Support Associate Should Have Experience In Managing Inventory, Including Receiving, Organizing, And Tracking Merchandise In A Retail Environment.

  • Strong Attention To Detail: This Role Requires A High Level Of Accuracy And Attention To Detail To Ensure That Merchandise Is Received And Processed Correctly.

  • Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Items: The Job May Involve Lifting And Moving Heavy Boxes And Merchandise, So Physical Strength And Stamina Are Important Qualifications.

  • Familiarity With Retail Systems And Software: A Retail Receiving Support Associate Should Be Comfortable Using Computer-Based Inventory And Tracking Systems, As Well As Basic Retail Software For Ordering And Receiving Merchandise.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As A Member Of The Receiving Team, This Role Requires Effective Communication With Other Team Members, As Well As With Store Managers And Vendors. Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential For Success In This Position.
