- Receive and process incoming merchandise accurately and efficiently in accordance with company standards and procedures.
- Verify and document all shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders.
- Organize and sort merchandise according to department, style, and size.
- Communicate with vendors and store management regarding any discrepancies or issues with merchandise.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate distribution of merchandise to the sales floor.
- Assist with inventory control and management by conducting regular counts and reporting any discrepancies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any customer inquiries or concerns related to merchandise.
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols, including proper handling of merchandise and equipment.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to improve skills and knowledge of retail operations.
