  1. Receive and process incoming merchandise in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Ensure all received merchandise is properly tagged, labeled, and entered into inventory system.
  3. Inspect merchandise for quality and report any damages or discrepancies to management.
  4. Communicate with other departments to ensure timely processing of merchandise and replenishment of store inventory.
  5. Collaborate with sales associates to maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
  6. Assist in unloading and sorting of deliveries, including heavy lifting and use of equipment.
  7. Maintain knowledge of store inventory and assist in locating and retrieving merchandise as needed.
  8. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns related to receiving and processing of merchandise.
  9. Follow proper safety and security procedures when handling merchandise.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding receiving and inventory control.
  11. Proactively identify and report any inventory discrepancies to management.
  12. Participate in stock counts and assist with inventory audits when needed.
  13. Contribute to a positive and team-oriented work environment.
  14. Continuously strive to improve processes and efficiency within the receiving department.
  15. Keep up-to-date with fashion and product knowledge to assist customers and provide a high level of service.

  • Strong Organizational Skills: A Retail Receiving Support Associate Must Be Able To Efficiently Manage And Track Incoming Shipments, As Well As Maintain Accurate Inventory Records.

  • Attention To Detail: This Role Requires A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure That All Incoming Merchandise Is Accurately Accounted For And Properly Labeled In The Store's System.

  • Physical Stamina: The Job May Involve Lifting And Carrying Heavy Or Bulky Items, As Well As Standing For Extended Periods Of Time, So Physical Fitness And Stamina Are Important.

  • Communication Skills: As A Liaison Between The Receiving Department And Other Store Departments, The Associate Must Have Effective Communication Skills To Relay Information About Incoming Merchandise And Any Issues That May Arise.
