1. Receive and process all incoming merchandise accurately and efficiently.
2. Check merchandise for accuracy, damages, and discrepancies.
3. Ensure that all merchandise is properly labeled and organized.
4. Communicate any issues or discrepancies with merchandise to the appropriate team members.
5. Assist with unloading delivery trucks and moving merchandise to designated areas.
6. Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
7. Use proper equipment and techniques to handle merchandise to prevent damage.
8. Work closely with other team members to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.
9. Provide exceptional customer service to shoppers by answering questions and addressing any concerns.
10. Follow company policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of merchandise.
11. Keep track of inventory and report any shortages or overages.
12. Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts as needed.
13. Communicate with vendors and other departments as necessary.
14. Attend training sessions and meetings to stay updated on new procedures and policies.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
