- Receive and process incoming merchandise from various sources, including trucks, vendors, and inter-store transfers.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all receiving processes, including checking for damages, discrepancies, and correct pricing.
- Maintain organized and efficient receiving area by properly sorting, labeling, and storing merchandise.
- Work closely with store management and sales associates to fulfill merchandise requests and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assist in the execution of inventory control procedures, including cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve any receiving or inventory issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Follow all safety and security protocols to protect company assets and maintain a safe work environment.
- Uphold Macy's standards of professionalism and customer service at all times.
- Continuously develop knowledge of products and processes to accurately assist customers and fellow associates.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to receiving, inventory, and customer service.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including the receiving area and backroom.
- Communicate any inventory or receiving issues to management in a timely and efficient manner.
- Take initiative to identify and suggest improvements to receiving processes and procedures.
