Power Equipment Operator

1. Operate power equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks, to move, stack, and transport materials and products throughout the warehouse and distribution center.
2. Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all power equipment, including performing routine maintenance and inspections.
3. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
4. Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
5. Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and locations.
6. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet daily production goals.
7. Communicate any equipment malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel and assist in troubleshooting and resolving problems.
8. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to quality control and productivity.
9. Keep work area clean and organized, and perform general warehouse duties as needed.
10. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures for increased efficiency and productivity.
11. Train and mentor new power equipment operators as needed.
12. Comply with all Macy's ethical standards and code of conduct.
13. Embody a positive and professional attitude while representing Macy's to customers and external vendors.
14. Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by supervisors.
