Power Equipment Operator

1. Operate power equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move merchandise throughout the store.
2. Ensure the safe and efficient movement of merchandise in accordance with company safety protocols.
3. Perform daily inspections of power equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition.
4. Load and unload merchandise from trucks and delivery vehicles using power equipment.
5. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory management.
6. Work closely with other team members to coordinate the movement of merchandise and maintain an organized and clean work environment.
7. Provide excellent customer service by promptly and safely assisting customers with their merchandise needs.
8. Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, at all times.
9. Communicate any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management immediately.
10. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company to customers and other team members.
11. Attend training and development sessions to stay updated on new equipment and procedures.
12. Adhere to all state and federal regulations related to power equipment operation.
13. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
