4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as visual merchandising and marketing, to ensure cohesive product presentation and promotional strategies.
5. Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory management, including stock transfers and markdowns.
6. Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing and terms to optimize profitability.
7. Monitor competitive landscape and stay up-to-date on industry trends and new product releases.
8. Conduct product analysis and provide recommendations for product mix and assortment.
9. Assist with planning and execution of merchandise promotions and events.
10. Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues related to merchandise.
11. Maintain accurate and organized records of merchandise and related documentation.
12. Contribute to the overall success of the merchandise department by taking on additional tasks and projects as needed.
