1. Receive and process incoming merchandise and shipments in a timely and accurate manner.
2. Ensure proper labeling, sorting, and storage of merchandise to maintain organization and efficiency within the warehouse.
3. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move and transport merchandise to designated areas.
4. Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
5. Collaborate with other team members to fulfill orders and ensure timely delivery to the sales floor.
6. Inspect merchandise for quality and damages, and report any issues to the appropriate department.
7. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.
8. Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks and trailers.
9. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
10. Uphold the company's customer service standards by providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for customers and assisting with any inquiries or concerns.
11. Follow all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, dress code, attendance, and punctuality.
12. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
13. Adhere to all regulatory and legal requirements related to product handling and safety.
14. Train and mentor new team members as needed.
15. Carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
