1. Efficiently and accurately handle incoming and outgoing merchandise shipments.
2. Safely operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
3. Utilize inventory management systems to track and locate merchandise within the warehouse.
4. Inspect incoming merchandise for quality and accuracy, reporting any issues to management.
5. Collaborate with team members to prioritize and fulfill orders in a timely manner.
6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure the safety and efficiency of warehouse operations.
7. Communicate with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to resolve any inventory discrepancies.
8. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and inventory control guidelines.
9. Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed.
10. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement to increase efficiency and productivity.
11. Provide excellent customer service to internal departments, as well as external vendors and customers.
12. Follow all company guidelines for handling and disposing of hazardous materials.
13. Attend training sessions and meetings to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
14. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by supporting and assisting team members as needed.
15. Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with coworkers and customers.
