- Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies that align with Macy's brand image and drive sales.
- Lead and manage a team of visual merchandisers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including buying, marketing, and store operations, to ensure cohesive visual presentation across all departments.
- Stay up-to-date on retail industry trends and competitor strategies to continuously improve Macy's visual merchandising approach.
- Conduct regular store visits to evaluate the effectiveness of visual displays and make necessary adjustments.
- Create and maintain visual merchandising guidelines and standards for all store locations.
- Manage and allocate budget for visual merchandising materials and supplies.
- Work closely with store managers to ensure visual merchandising plans are executed accurately and efficiently.
- Partner with vendors to secure and incorporate merchandise displays and props that enhance the overall visual presentation of the store.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to make data-driven decisions for visual merchandising strategies.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting creativity and innovation within the visual merchandising team.
- Ensure all visual merchandising displays comply with safety and security standards.
- Participate in store events and promotions, providing support and direction for visual merchandising needs.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for the visual merchandising team.
- Continuously evaluate and improve visual merchandising processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Proven Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Visual Merchandisers.
Bachelor's Degree In Visual Merchandising, Fashion Merchandising, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Visual Merchandising, Preferably In A Retail Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Current Fashion Trends And Ability To Incorporate Them Into Visual Displays.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Other Departments And Teams.
