
Manager, Visual Merchandising

- Develop and implement creative and visually appealing displays in accordance with Macy's brand standards and current trends in the fashion industry.
- Collaborate with store managers and merchandising teams to plan and execute visual strategies that drive sales and enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Ensure that all displays are set up accurately, efficiently, and within specified deadlines.
- Train and coach store associates on visual merchandising techniques and standards to ensure consistency across all store locations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in the selection, ordering, and placement of merchandise to optimize sales and create a cohesive visual story.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' visual merchandising strategies to continuously improve and innovate Macy's displays.
- Manage and maintain visual merchandising budgets and expenses.
- Hire, train, and supervise a team of visual merchandisers to ensure high-quality work and adherence to company standards.
- Conduct regular store visits and audits to ensure compliance with visual merchandising standards and provide feedback and guidance as needed.
- Collaborate with marketing and advertising teams to ensure visual displays align with promotional and marketing campaigns.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Adhere to budget and expense guidelines set by the company.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management to provide updates, recommendations, and strategies for improving visual merchandising.
- Continuously evaluate and improve visual merchandising processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Represent Macy's brand and values at all times and act as a role model for visual merchandising best practices.
Bachelor's Degree In Visual Merchandising, Fashion Marketing, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Visual Merchandising, Preferably In A Retail Or Fashion Environment.
Strong Visual And Creative Skills With A Keen Eye For Detail.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Departments.
Proven Track Record Of Driving Sales Through Effective Visual Merchandising Strategies And Execution.
