  1. Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve sales targets set by the company.
  2. Create and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers by ensuring high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
  3. Train, mentor, and supervise sales associates to ensure they provide excellent customer service and meet sales goals.
  4. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with customers to enhance their shopping experience and increase customer loyalty.
  6. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  7. Collaborate with other store managers to ensure consistent and seamless customer service across all departments.
  8. Maintain a thorough understanding of Macy's products and services to effectively assist customers and train sales associates.
  9. Monitor inventory levels and work with the merchandising team to ensure products are well-stocked and displayed to maximize sales potential.
  10. Create and implement customer service and sales training programs for new and existing employees.
  11. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to sales associates to improve their performance.
  12. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, cash handling, inventory management, and customer service standards.
  13. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and customer preferences to make recommendations for improving the overall shopping experience.
  14. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute sales and promotional strategies to attract and retain customers.
  15. Prepare and present sales reports and progress updates to upper management.
