  1. Develop and implement merchandise execution strategies that align with the overall business goals and objectives of Macy's.
  2. Lead and manage a team of merchandising associates, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure consistent execution of visual merchandising standards across all store locations.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including buying, planning, and store operations, to ensure product placement and displays are in line with promotions and sales events.
  4. Conduct regular store visits to assess visual merchandising standards and provide feedback and recommendations for improvements.
  5. Ensure all merchandise is properly stocked, displayed, and priced according to Macy's standards.
  6. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and make recommendations for product placement and assortment adjustments to maximize sales and profitability.
  7. Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure timely and accurate delivery of merchandise.
  8. Oversee the execution of visual merchandising directives and standards, ensuring they are consistently implemented in all stores.
  9. Manage inventory levels and ensure proper handling and storage of merchandise to minimize loss and maximize efficiency.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in visual merchandising and make recommendations for improvement to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
  11. Develop and manage merchandise execution budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
  12. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and providing feedback and recognition to team members.
  13. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
  14. Act as a brand ambassador, representing Macy's values and culture both internally and externally.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve the customer shopping experience and drive sales through creative merchandising strategies.
