  1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department at Macy's.
  2. Train, coach, and supervise a team of housekeeping staff to ensure high quality service and cleanliness standards are met.
  3. Develop and implement efficient and effective cleaning procedures to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  4. Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  5. Schedule and assign housekeeping tasks to team members, ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  6. Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are being met and address any issues or concerns.
  7. Collaborate with other department managers to coordinate cleaning schedules and ensure minimal disruption to store operations.
  8. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to encourage growth and development.
  9. Respond to customer inquiries and feedback regarding the cleanliness of the store.
  10. Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations and procedures.
  11. Identify and recommend improvements to streamline housekeeping processes and improve overall efficiency.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional work environment for all team members.
  13. Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in housekeeping management.

Job Qualifications
  • At Least 2-3 Years Of Previous Experience In A Managerial Role In The Housekeeping Department, Preferably In A Retail Or Hospitality Setting.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team Of Housekeeping Staff.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Housekeeping Industry Standards, Procedures, And Best Practices For Maintaining A Clean And Organized Environment.

  • Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Skills To Efficiently Oversee Housekeeping Schedules And Tasks.

  • Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Effectively While Maintaining A High Level Of Attention To Detail And Ensuring Customer Satisfaction.
