Manager, Asset Protection

Macy's is looking for an experienced and dedicated Manager, Asset Protection to join our team! The Manager, Asset Protection will lead our Asset Protection team and be responsible for safeguarding Macy's assets, personnel, and customers.The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. An Associate's degree in criminal justice, security, or a related field is required. Previous experience in a retail security environment is preferred. The successful candidate will also have the ability to train and motivate employees, analyze data and trends, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the Asset Protection team, identifying areas of improvement and developing strategies to reduce losses and minimize risk.
2. Maintain open communication with store personnel to ensure safety of customers and employees.
3. Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations.
4. Train and motivate team members to ensure quality customer service and adherence to safety protocols.
5. Analyze data and trends to identify potential areas of risk and develop appropriate strategies to mitigate risk.
6. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure asset protection and security.
7. Monitor security systems and equipment to identify and address any issues.
8. Monitor security cameras and review footage as needed.
9. Respond to and investigate security incidents.
10. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies.
