In this role, you will play a critical role in protecting our company's assets, including merchandise, employees, and customers.   1. Develop and implement asset protection strategies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of Macy's stores and assets.
  2. Lead and manage a team of asset protection associates, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's success.
  3. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities, and take appropriate action to mitigate them.
  4. Collaborate with other departments, such as store operations and human resources, to ensure proper training and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  5. Monitor and analyze data and reports to identify trends and patterns that could impact the safety and security of Macy's assets.
  6. Stay up-to-date on the latest security technologies and techniques, and make recommendations for their implementation.
  7. Investigate and resolve incidents of theft, fraud, and other security-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
  8. Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with local law enforcement and other external partners.
  9. Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures related to asset protection and safety to all employees.
  10. Maintain accurate and thorough records of all incidents and investigations, and provide detailed reports as needed.
  11. Manage the budget for the asset protection department, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  12. Stay informed of industry developments and best practices in asset protection, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  13. Uphold Macy's values and promote a culture of safety, security, and integrity throughout the organization.
  14. Handle any other responsibilities or tasks as assigned by senior management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Asset Protection Or Loss Prevention.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Retail Operations And Security Procedures.

  • Previous Experience Managing A Team And Conducting Investigations.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Handle Difficult Situations And Make Decisions Under Pressure.
