  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for asset protection to ensure the safety and security of company assets, profits, and reputation.
  2. Lead and manage a team of asset protection associates, providing direction, guidance, and support in their daily activities.
  3. Oversee and monitor the implementation of security measures, including CCTV systems, alarm systems, and physical security controls.
  4. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities in store operations and take necessary actions to mitigate risks.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as store operations, human resources, and legal, to ensure policies and procedures are in place and followed to prevent loss and maintain a safe environment.
  6. Train and educate store associates on asset protection best practices and procedures.
  7. Investigate and resolve incidents of theft, fraud, and other security breaches, ensuring all necessary documentation and reporting is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  8. Analyze data and trends related to theft and loss prevention and make recommendations for improvement.
  9. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to asset protection.
  10. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment for the asset protection team, promoting teamwork, accountability, and professionalism.
  11. Stay current on industry trends and advancements in asset protection technology and techniques, and implement new strategies as needed.
  12. Represent Macy's in a professional manner, both internally and externally, and serve as a role model for the company's values and culture.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve asset protection processes and procedures to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and accuracy.
  14. Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of integrity and ethics in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, Or Security Management.

  • Strong Leadership Skills With Experience In Managing A Team And Overseeing Multiple Locations.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Retail Operations And Security Protocols.

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Handle Stressful Situations And Make Sound Decisions Under Pressure.
