1. Develop and implement asset protection strategies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of the retail establishment.
2. Oversee a team of asset protection associates and provide leadership, guidance, and training.
3. Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities in the store's security measures.
4. Monitor and analyze data related to theft, fraud, and other security incidents to identify trends and patterns.
5. Collaborate with store management and other departments to address and resolve any security concerns.
6. Conduct investigations into theft, fraud, and other security incidents, and work with law enforcement when necessary.
7. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to asset protection.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in security technology to continuously improve the store's asset protection efforts.
9. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to security incidents, investigations, and risk assessments.
10. Communicate effectively with store management and staff to promote a culture of security awareness and accountability.
11. Conduct regular training sessions for store employees on theft prevention and store security protocols.
12. Act as a liaison between the store and external security agencies, such as local law enforcement and loss prevention teams.
13. Monitor and manage the store's CCTV system and other security equipment.
14. Respond to emergency situations and provide support to store staff and customers as needed.
15. Act as a role model for ethical behavior and integrity within the store.
