Manager, Asset Protection

Macy's is looking for an experienced and motivated Manager, Asset Protection to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive security and asset protection programs to ensure the integrity of our customers, business, and employees. You will be expected to work closely with the management team, local law enforcement, and other stakeholders to ensure the safety and security of our stores.The ideal candidate for this position will have an Associates or Bachelor degree in Security Studies, Criminology, Law Enforcement, or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience in a security-related role, preferably in the retail industry. You should also be a strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team. Experience with developing and implementing security policies and procedures as well as a working knowledge of loss prevention systems and procedures is also essential. Responsibilities:

-Develop and implement comprehensive security and asset protection programs -Work closely with management team, local law enforcement, and other stakeholders to ensure the safety and security of stores -Develop and implement security policies and procedures -Stay current on loss prevention systems and procedures -Investigate employee and customer incidents -Provide training and education to store personnel on security and asset protection procedures -Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations -Monitor store activity to identify potential security threats -Manage security personnel, including hiring, supervision, and evaluation
