Manager, Asset Protection

Macy’s is looking for a passionate and experienced Manager, Asset Protection to join our team. In this role, you will be a key part of our security and loss prevention efforts, and will be instrumental in helping us protect our assets and ensure that our customers have a safe and secure shopping experience. You should be a leader who is able to think strategically and proactively, and who is ready to take on the challenge of protecting our assets.Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security, Business Administration, or a related field• At least 5 years of experience in security, asset protection, or a related field• Previous supervisory experience• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills• Knowledge of security protocols and risk management• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Proven commitment to customer service and customer satisfaction

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to protect Macy’s assets and customers

• Collaborate with store managers, supervisors, and staff to ensure safety and security protocols are being followed

• Conduct investigations and risk assessments to identify security threats

• Monitor and review security systems and processes to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures

• Train and supervise security staff on best practices and security protocols

• Provide customer service and respond to customer inquiries and complaints

• Ensure that all safety and security protocols are being followed

• Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement agencies

• Create and maintain reports on incidents, investigations, and security activities

• Manage the budget for security-related activities and purchases
