Manager, Asset Protection

The ideal individual will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a retail asset protection environment, a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and advanced knowledge of loss prevention techniques. Further, the ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of retail security systems, personnel management, investigations and regulations.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead a team in the prevention and investigation of losses and the protection of company assets.
2. Develop and implement strategies that protect Macy's assets.
3. Ensure compliance with relevant retail security systems, personnel management, investigations and regulations.
4. Monitor and analyze data to identify loss trends and recommend action plans to reduce losses.
5. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement proactive loss prevention strategies.
6. Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Supervise and train asset protection personnel on current policies and procedures.
8. Investigate and document any employee misconduct or theft.
9. Develop and maintain relationships with law enforcement and other partnering agencies.
10. Conduct regular audits of internal processes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
