Job Description

Macy's is seeking an experienced Manager of Asset Protection to lead and manage our asset protection team. The ideal candidate will be an organized, results-oriented professional who will work to ensure the safety of our customers and associates and the security of our assets. This individual will have a passion for customer service and a commitment to providing the highest quality of service.This role requires the following qualifications: a minimum of 5 years of experience in loss prevention, retail or related field; excellent leadership and communication skills; strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; and the ability to lead a team effectively and efficiently. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies to protect Macy's assets, customers, and associates.
  2. Monitor security systems and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  3. Create and maintain a secure environment in all stores by inspecting premises and identifying potential security vulnerabilities.
  4. Coordinate and collaborate with local law enforcement and other agencies to ensure safety and security of property and personnel.
  5. Develop and implement training programs for staff on asset protection procedures and policies.
  6. Investigate and resolve incidents of theft, fraud, and other security-related activities.
  7. Monitor and analyze security data to identify trends and develop strategies to mitigate risk.
  8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  9. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  10. Ensure that the asset protection team is adequately staffed and trained to carry out duties.
