Job Description

Macy's is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Manager, Asset Protection to join our team. The ideal candidate should be driven, organized, and detail-oriented with great problem solving and communication skills. The Manager, Asset Protection will be responsible for developing and implementing loss prevention strategies, overseeing loss prevention programs, and creating action plans to reduce shrinkage.The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, as well as a minimum of five years' experience in asset protection, retail loss prevention, or a related field. In addition, working knowledge of corporate and retail security procedures, OSHA regulations, and safety practices is essential. Our ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and team-building skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement loss prevention strategies and programs to reduce shrinkage.
  2. Supervise and train staff in asset protection and retail loss prevention techniques.
  3. Monitor and audit the compliance of security procedures, OSHA regulations, and safety practices.
  4. Analyze data and trends to generate reports and recommend action plans to improve asset protection strategies.
  5. Create and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and other stakeholders.
  6. Manage budgets and resources allocated to the asset protection team.
  7. Utilize surveillance systems to identify and investigate suspicious activities.
  8. Prepare reports on asset protection and loss prevention activities.
  9. Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends in asset protection and retail loss prevention.
  10. Respond to emergency situations and coordinate with law enforcement as needed.
