- Build and maintain positive relationships with leased vendors to drive sales and ensure a mutually beneficial partnership.
- Increase sales by actively promoting and selling leased vendor products to customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries and purchases related to leased vendor products.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with the buying team to ensure adequate inventory levels and effective merchandising of leased vendor products.
- Act as a liaison between Macy's and leased vendors to address any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
- Train and educate store associates on leased vendor products and promotions to increase product knowledge and sales.
- Monitor and maintain leased vendor areas to ensure they are clean, organized, and visually appealing for customers.
- Assist with inventory management and receiving of leased vendor products.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to provide insights and recommendations for improving sales and customer experience.
- Work with the store management team to develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Participate in store events and promotions to drive traffic and sales for leased vendor products.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the Macy's brand.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure a safe and welcoming shopping environment for customers and colleagues.
Strong Sales Skills: A Leased Vendor Sales And Support Associate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Sales Targets. This Includes Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, As Well As The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Customers.
Product Knowledge: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Products Being Sold By The Leased Vendor, As Well As The Ability To Stay Updated On New And Upcoming Products. This Will Enable Them To Provide Accurate And Detailed Information To Customers And Make Effective Sales Pitches.
Customer Service Experience: Experience In A Customer-Facing Role Is Essential For This Position. The Candidate Should Be Able To Provide Exceptional Service To Customers, Handle Complaints And Resolve Issues In A Timely And Professional Manner.
Team Player: The Leased Vendor Sales And Support Associate Will Work Closely With The Macy's Team As Well As The Leased Vendor's Team. They Should Be Able To Collaborate Effectively, Share Knowledge And Resources, And Work Towards Common Goals.
Flexibility And Adaptability: This Role May Involve Working In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Retail Environment. The Candidate Should Be Able To Adapt To Changing Situations, Handle Multiple Tasks, And Work Well Under Pressure. Flexibility In Working Hours, Including Weekends And Holidays, May Also Be Required.
