  1. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance Macy's search engine marketing efforts.
  2. Lead and manage a team of SEM specialists to ensure the successful execution of campaigns.
  3. Monitor and analyze data to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, IT, and merchandising, to align SEM strategy with broader business objectives.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve Macy's SEM strategy.
  6. Manage budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
  7. Ensure all SEM campaigns adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a high level of quality and consistency.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and vendors to leverage industry insights and advance Macy's SEM capabilities.
  9. Utilize various tools and platforms to track and measure the performance of SEM campaigns, providing regular reports and analysis to leadership.
  10. Identify and troubleshoot any issues or roadblocks in SEM campaigns, implementing solutions to ensure optimal performance.
  11. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement integrated campaigns that align with overall marketing objectives.
  12. Stay informed of digital marketing trends and emerging technologies, proactively identifying opportunities to improve and innovate Macy's SEM efforts.
  13. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the target audience and their behaviors to inform SEM strategies and tactics.
  14. Set clear goals and objectives for the SEM team, providing guidance and support to ensure they are met.
  15. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging creativity, innovation, and teamwork among team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Sem Acquisition Marketing: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Developing And Executing Successful Sem Acquisition Marketing Strategies. This Includes A Strong Understanding Of Search Engine Algorithms, Keyword Research, Bidding Strategies, And Campaign Optimization.

  • Proven Track Record Of Driving Revenue And Customer Acquisition: The Director Of Sem Acquisition Marketing Should Have A Track Record Of Delivering Tangible Results In Terms Of Revenue Growth And Customer Acquisition. This Includes A Deep Understanding Of Sem Metrics And Analytics To Measure Campaign Success.

  • Strong Leadership And Team Management Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Of Sem Specialists, Analysts, And Vendors. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of The Retail Industry: As Macy's Is A Retail Company, The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Industry And Consumer Behavior. This Includes Knowledge Of Current Trends, Competitors, And Market Dynamics That Can Inform Sem Acquisition Strategies.
