- Support the Private Brands Strategy and Innovation team in developing and executing strategic plans to drive growth and success for Macy's private brands.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for new product development and brand positioning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including merchandising, design, and marketing to ensure successful execution of private brand initiatives.
- Assist in creating and managing project timelines and budgets for new product launches and marketing campaigns.
- Contribute to the development of innovative and creative ideas to differentiate and elevate Macy's private brands in the retail landscape.
- Monitor and report on industry and competitor activities to inform private brand strategy and identify potential areas for improvement.
- Help to develop and maintain relationships with private brand partners and vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of products.
- Assist in the coordination of product development and sourcing, including sample reviews and approvals.
- Collaborate with the Private Brands Strategy and Innovation team to create and maintain brand guidelines and standards.
- Participate in team meetings and present updates on projects and initiatives.
- Continuously seek out new opportunities and strategies to enhance the performance and growth of Macy's private brands.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Data And Make Strategic Recommendations.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Marketing, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Brand Development Or Strategy Within The Retail Industry.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams.
Knowledge Of Current Market Trends And Consumer Behavior, With A Strong Understanding Of The Competitive Landscape.
