Assistant Designer - Home

1. Collaborate with Senior Designers to develop and execute innovative designs for Macy's Home department products
2. Stay up-to-date on the latest interior design trends and incorporate them into designs
3. Possess a strong understanding of design principles and apply them effectively in all projects
4. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet product requirements and brand standards
5. Attend design meetings and provide creative input and solutions
6. Assist in creating and maintaining design concept boards and sample libraries
7. Conduct research and gather inspiration for new design ideas and concepts
8. Communicate and present design concepts to team members and stakeholders
9. Work within designated timelines and meet project deadlines
10. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of products
11. Continuously evaluate and improve designs based on customer feedback and market trends
12. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a collaborative and dynamic team environment
13. Assist with product photo shoots and styling as needed
14. Stay organized and maintain accurate records of design projects and timelines
15. Act as a brand ambassador and uphold Macy's values and standards in all design work.
