1. Collaborate with the design team to create innovative and visually appealing home displays that align with Macy's brand aesthetic.
2. Stay updated on current design trends and implement them into display concepts.
3. Assist in the sourcing and selection of products for displays, ensuring they meet quality and style standards.
4. Maintain organization and cleanliness of the design studio and merchandise displays.
5. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
6. Use creativity and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and find solutions for design projects.
7. Follow visual merchandising guidelines and standards to ensure consistency and brand cohesion.
8. Take initiative to suggest improvements and ideas for enhancing the customer shopping experience.
9. Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
10. Represent Macy's in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
11. Assist in the preparation and execution of special events and promotions within the Home department.
12. Continuously develop skills and knowledge in the field of interior design and apply them to daily tasks.
13. Adhere to safety and security procedures to protect merchandise and maintain a safe working environment.
14. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, supporting and assisting team members when needed.
