1. Collaborate with the Design team to develop and execute design concepts for Macy's Home products.
2. Help to bring the vision and aesthetic of the brand to life through your design contributions.
3. Stay up-to-date on current and emerging home design trends to inform and inspire your work.
4. Utilize your strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
5. Assist in the creation and presentation of design sketches, mood boards, and other visual materials.
6. Work closely with cross-functional teams such as merchandising, product development, and sourcing to ensure design concepts are feasible and align with overall business goals.
7. Contribute innovative and creative ideas to enhance the overall design process and elevate the Macy's Home brand.
8. Conduct research on materials, colors, and finishes to inform design decisions.
9. Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers to ensure quality and timely delivery of products.
10. Continuously review and provide feedback on product samples to ensure they meet design and quality standards.
11. Support the Design team in creating and maintaining design documents, including tech packs and product specifications.
12. Assist with product photoshoots and styling to showcase the merchandise in the best possible way.
13. Actively participate in team meetings and provide input on design direction and strategy.
14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the Macy's brand.
15. Continuously seek opportunities to learn and grow in the field of home design and contribute to the success of the department.
