Asset Protection Detective

Responsibilities:

• Use investigative skills to protect Macy's assets
• Uphold customer and employee safety and security
• Monitor security cameras and respond to any suspicious activity or theft
• Manage incident reports and data entry for loss prevention
• Conduct investigations and interviews to identify theft suspects
• Intervene in shoplifting situations to apprehend suspects
• Collaborate with internal departments and external law enforcement agencies
• Develop and implement proactive loss prevention strategies
• Educate staff on loss prevention procedures
• Maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service
• Act as a team player to support the store's security and safety initiatives
