1. Monitor and observe customer and employee activity within the store to identify potential security threats.
2. Conduct routine patrols of the store to ensure the safety and security of merchandise, customers, and employees.
3. Collaborate with store management to develop and implement security procedures and protocols.
4. Investigate and report any suspicious behavior or incidents to store management and corporate security.
5. Utilize surveillance systems and equipment to monitor and record activity within the store.
6. Identify and address any gaps in security measures and make recommendations for improvement.
7. Work closely with law enforcement and emergency services in the event of an incident.
8. Train and educate store employees on security procedures and protocols.
9. Maintain accurate records of incidents, reports, and investigations.
10. Keep up to date with current security trends and implement best practices to ensure the safety and security of the store.
11. Respond to and resolve any customer or employee concerns related to security.
12. Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and identify any potential theft or loss.
13. Communicate and collaborate with other Asset Protection Detectives and store personnel to maintain a cohesive and effective security team.
14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
15. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
