1. Monitor and maintain the safety and security of Macy's merchandise and customers at all times.
2. Conduct regular patrols of the store to identify and address any potential security threats or risks.
3. Work closely with store management and other team members to ensure a safe and secure environment for both employees and customers.
4. Utilize surveillance and other security equipment to identify and deter theft, fraud, and other criminal activities.
5. Respond promptly and effectively to any security incidents or emergencies, following proper procedures and protocols.
6. Conduct thorough investigations of any reported incidents, gathering evidence and working with law enforcement as needed.
7. Stay up-to-date on the latest security and safety protocols and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
8. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers and addressing any security concerns or questions they may have.
9. Continuously monitor and review security procedures to identify and address any vulnerabilities or areas for improvement.
10. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information related to security matters.
11. Collaborate with other departments, such as Loss Prevention and Risk Management, to ensure a comprehensive approach to asset protection.
12. Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
13. Train and educate other team members on security procedures and protocols.
14. Act as a role model for professionalism, integrity, and excellent customer service.
